I was asked in 2010 to come up with some concepts / boards for Hasbro's 'hollywood-style' studio logo that would appear before a feature film. I pitched and sketched-out many concepts and all along the way everyone seemed to point towards this 'fireworks" idea.
I spent about a month fleshing out this 'animatic' until it was finally chosen as a concept. I think of this piece as one of my biggest accomplishments at the time. I was once told "this is the best looking animatic I've ever seen, and you shoot yourself in the foot by doing this - because you then have to somehow top this with a final piece."
