I actually met this client (metart.com) through Behance. They produce very high-end adult films (shot on RED with dollys and high production value). They needed a film production intro animation to match. I came up with this idea from looking at some of their super-slow motion footage of a girl on the beach with her hair blowing in the wind. I was able to arrange for one of their DP's to shoot some custom material for this intro with one of their models in France. The idea for the background came initially from the idea of hundreds of candles burning around... but it eventually evolved into this shallow depth of field bokeh look that you see here. I think this piece works well to convey the idea of adult films without at all being sleazy or too graphic.
